At Involve, we’re on a mission to bring students to the center of their own learning journeys. We believe that when students are trusted, supported, and given space to lead, they don’t just learn better they thrive.We started back in 2018 when our founders, Divanshu and Samyak, both fresh out of IIT Madras, chose to skip placements and instead build something that mattered. They envisioned classrooms where students weren’t just passive listeners, but active participants—teaching, mentoring, leading, and growing together.
Today, that vision is alive and growing, and we are working with government schools in six Indian states. Our core program, Peer Teaching, trains senior students to mentor their juniors in foundational skills like reading and math. But it’s about more than academics—it’s about building confidence, communication, problem-solving, and agency. Because we believe agency is the key to breaking cycles of inequality and helping young people truly own their futures. Over the next 5 years we look forward to creating impact for 10 million children across the length and breadth of India!
We work hand-in-hand with state and district governments in places like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Karnataka. About the Role
As a Fundraising Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting Involve's fundraising efforts by identifying new opportunities, coordinating proposals, maintaining donor relationships, and ensuring that our fundraising systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospect Research & Pipeline Development
Support research of CSR companies, domestic & international foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with Involve's priorities
Execute structured outreach, including emails, follow-ups, and meeting requests
Maintain and regularly update the fundraising pipeline in Zoho CRM
2. Proposal Building & Grant Coordination
Support building first drafts of proposals, concept notes, budgets, grant applications and supporting documents
Coordinate inputs across program, research, monitoring and evaluation & finance teams to ensure high-quality submissions
Track & maintain grant calendars, application deadlines and follow-ups across opportunities
3. Donor Reporting & Relationship Management
Support the team in managing existing donor relationships via planned engagements
Coordinate donor visits and field exposure opportunities
Build & iterate Involve’s impact via funder-facing compelling decks, one-pagers, quarterly & annual program reports, and other impact communications
Coordinate routine compliance-related documentation & collect required approvals
4. Events & Partnerships
Support planning and coordination of donor engagement events, networking events, and conferences hosted or attended by the fundraising team
Assist in organizing corporate volunteering engagements

Google Workspace
Strong PowerPoint and proposal formatting skills.
Basic understanding of Development Sector, CSR, philanthropy, and nonprofit fundraising.
Familiarity with grant portals and online research tools is preferred.

You Should Have
0–2 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, sales, client relationship management, consulting, or the development sector.
Fresh graduates with exceptional internships and strong communication skills may also be considered.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Exposure to NGOs, CSR, education, or the social impact sector is preferred.
