Seeking HVAC Technician in Training Candidates

Job brief

An HVAC technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in both residential and commercial buildings, including tasks like troubleshooting malfunctions, replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance checks, and advising customers on system upgrades, all while adhering to local building codes and safety regulations; requiring strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and observe the work of an experience HVAC Technician
• Provide labor and "helper" duties when asked
• This is an evolving role that will help you prepare to become a properly trained HVAC Technician in the State of Indiana.   

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license
• Willing to travel and potentially work odd hours
• Good communication skills
