Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Affairs to lead our government relations, investor relations, and stakeholder communications function. This role is pivotal in shaping the organizations public image, managing critical relationships with key external partners, and ensuring alignment between corporate strategy and stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing our corporate reputation, driving stakeholder engagement, and supporting the companys long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate affairs strategies that strengthen the companys reputation and align with business objectives.

  • Lead government relations initiatives, including monitoring regulations, policy changes, and building strong relationships with policymakers and regulatory bodies.

  • Oversee investor relations, including managing communications with shareholders, analysts, and financial institutions to ensure transparency and trust.

  • Manage stakeholder communications, including media relations, public affairs, and community engagement.

  • Serve as a key spokesperson for the company, ensuring consistent, clear, and impactful messaging across all channels.

  • Provide strategic counsel to the executive leadership team on regulatory, political, and reputational issues.

  • Coordinate crisis communication strategies and ensure timely and effective responses to sensitive issues.

  • Develop communication materials such as press releases, investor presentations, speeches, and corporate reports.

  • Drive internal communication strategies to align employees with company vision and strategy.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and public sentiment to anticipate risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum 1215 years of progressive experience in corporate affairs, government relations, investor relations, or public policy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record in government relations and navigating regulatory environments.

  • Strong background in investor relations and communicating with financial markets.

  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, media handling, and crisis communication.

  • Established network with policymakers, government agencies, industry associations, and media.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken formats.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, influencing at the highest levels, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and high ethical standards.
