Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in supply chain and procurement leadership roles.
- Strong strategic and operational management skills, with the ability to oversee end-to-end (N2N) supply chain processes.
- Expertise in procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and logistics optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to foster collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier partnerships, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast and plan production, inventory, and procurement needs.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services while maintaining high quality standards.
- Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure continuity of supply.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional growth within the team.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop contingency plans to address disruptions in the supply chain.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics to track progress and identify improvement areas.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain and procurement performance to senior management.
