Senior Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Finance and Accounting is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the company, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, and supporting business growth through strategic financial planning. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounting department, ensuring efficient financial operations and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the companys long-term business goals.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial laws, and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reports for management review.
- Manage cost accounting and financial planning for manufacturing operations, including raw material costs, production costs, and inventory valuation.
- Monitor cash flow, financial risk, and capital management to ensure optimal financial health.
- Lead internal and external financial audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial records.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to optimize financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Finance & Accounting professional, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Industry Exposure: Strong background in manufacturing financial operations, cost accounting, and financial management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems), advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting principles.
- Language: Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Leadership: Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international and local tax laws, IFRS, and financial compliance regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience in working with multinational manufacturing companies is an advantage.
