 Job Description:

General Manager of Reward and Strategy is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the organizations total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, job evaluation, grading structures, and KPI cascading. This role requires strong expertise in job description analysis, salary benchmarking, and performance management frameworks to ensure competitive and equitable reward practices. This position will collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to drive strategic initiatives that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Experience from HR consulting as a reward specialist is highly advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market competitiveness.
  • Conduct job description analysis, job evaluation, and grading to ensure proper role classification and career progression frameworks.
  • Lead the development and execution of KPI cascading methodologies, linking employee performance with organizational goals.
  • Design and implement salary structures, pay scales, and incentive programs based on market benchmarks and internal equity.
  • Perform market research and salary benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation practices.
  • Work closely with HR teams and business leaders to align rewards and performance management strategies with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and international compensation best practices.
  • Develop and review reward policies, ensuring they support employee engagement, retention, and motivation.
  • Oversee job grading and classification frameworks to support career development and succession planning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on executive compensation, benefits, and long-term incentive plans.
  • Drive HR analytics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation and reward programs.
  • Engage with external consultants, industry experts, and stakeholders to stay updated on best practices in total rewards.


General Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in job description analysis, job evaluation, and grading frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in KPI cascading, performance management, and salary standardization.
  • Background experience in HR consulting as a reward specialist is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of compensation strategies, incentive design, and market benchmarking methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost analysis, and pay equity reviews.
  • Proficiency in HR analytics tools, job evaluation software, and compensation management systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
