Job Description:
Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager Accounting. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audit and compliance processes within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Supervise and coordinate accounting team activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Conduct financial report reviews and provide analytical insights for management decision-making.

  • Manage and monitor daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Coordinate and support both internal and external audit processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.

  • Analyze financial data related to project operations and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager position.

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and review processes within a team.

  • Previous experience in a Construction company is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to operational accounting.

  • Familiar with handling auditors and managing audit processes.

  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
