Sales Engineer

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell industrial pump products and related solutions to clients across various sectors, especially government institutions.

  • Develop new business opportunities and expand market share within the assigned territory.

  • Conduct regular visits to customers such as Water Resources Department, PDAM, and other government agencies.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.

  • Prepare price quotations, technical proposals, and deliver product presentations to clients.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, service, operations) to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Monitor government project tenders and prepare the necessary documentation.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in industrial pumps or similar industries (water treatment, mechanical equipment, fluid handling).

  • Possesses a customer database in the government segment such as Water Resources Department, PDAM, or related institutions.

  • Strong understanding of government project processes (tendering, procurement, and site technical requirements).

  • Ability to read technical specifications and provide suitable technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Willing to travel for business trips and site visits.

  • Having a valid drivers license (SIM A/SIM C) and personal vehicle is an advantage.
