Prescreener / Shift Staff Process Control

 Job Description:

Role Purpose:

Providing the best possible recipe for dyehouse production to gain highest performance of Colour Quality <0.8, highest Right First Time (RFT), highest Redye Success Rate performance also supporting Dyehouse Productivity and service leadtime.

Main Duties:

1. To screen all production lots prior to dyeing and providing recommendations and actions to shades suspected of failing colour zone in accordance to the manual prescreening wizard rules to meet dyehouse KPI on colour quality <0.8 and Right First Time.

· To provide recipe prediction for new orders or to follow the manual prescreening wizard Rules.

· To make recipe corrections to follow the manual prescreening wizard Rules.

· To generate the best recipe to be tested in SDD to have confirmed dyeing result.

· To do screening process in timely manner to support order availability in Bulk Production, output productivity and process service lead-time.

· To do trial new product as Quality Departement Request.

2. To provide order availability from SAP to Colourstitch and to Sedomaster

· To map new material orders to be linked to Colourstitch

· To generate replacement batch due to WFT or quality rejection.

3. To redye failed batch as soon as failure reason identified with highest success rate on first attempt.

4. To conduct WFT and Out of Control (OOC) Failure analysis in related to recipe quality and take corrective action accordingly.

5. To do Reprocess waste thread to Black Colour with minimum attempt.

6. To Support Continues Improvement in Dyehouse Departement through involving on Lean Six Sigma, Reduce Customer Complaint and Cost Saving Initiative.

7. Actively participate in all H&S and Environmental programs.

8. Use appropriate PPE as designated area.

9. Report any safety or environmental incidents, including accidents, near misses, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions.

Working in accordance with the environmental policy and reporting any areas of improvement.

Authorities

1. Validate recipe predictions before SDD testing.

2. Stop any unsafe laboratory activity and escalate major compliance issues.

General Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field

Skill:

· Proficient in use of Colour stitch (Colour Physic level 3)

· Proficient in use of Colour stitch (Prescreening Level 2)

· Good colour vision (Score <16) as measured by Munsell 100 hue colour vision test

· High level of attention to detail

· Good analytical skills

· Results orientated

· English Skill

Experience: Minimum 1 year working in the same field
