Key Responsibilities:

CMS Website Development:

• Design, develop, and manage websites using CMS platforms such as Squarespace, WordPress, and WooCommerce.
• Customize and extend CMS themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for various devices, and adhere to best practices in UX/UI design.

Client Collaboration:

• Work closely with clients to gather requirements, understand their vision, and translate their needs into functional website features.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations based on industry trends and best practices.

Content Management:

• Assist clients with content updates and management within their CMS.
• Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and performance.

Integration and Functionality:

• Integrate third-party tools and APIs to extend website functionality.
• Develop and implement custom features and functionalities as needed.

Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing website maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Perform regular updates to CMS platforms, themes, and plugins to ensure security and performance.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility, functionality, and performance.
• Identify and resolve any bugs or issues promptly.

Requirements

Experience:

• Proven experience in web development using CMS platforms, particularly Squarespace, WordPress, and WooCommerce.
• Strong portfolio showcasing past CMS projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap or React is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
