Team Lead - IT Infrastructure
Job Description:
Horizon Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead - IT Infrastructure to join our team. The Team Lead - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for managing and leading a team to maintain and support the organization's end-user devices, servers, network, and other IT infrastructure. This includes providing technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, managing and maintaining the office and cloud infrastructure, staying up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure and security developments, and recommending upgrades and improvements as necessary.
Must Haves
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT Support, with a focus on managing complex IT environments.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems, including network protocols, hardware, and storage.
- Knowledge of network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection and prevention.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of administering Linux operating systems will be a plus.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible to work in rotation shifts and a 24/7 operation.
- Must be familiar with Linux
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ICT Infrastructure team to maintain and support the organization's servers, network, and other IT infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain the office network and communicate with internet providers when needed to ensure stable and robust internet connections.
- Manage and maintain our web hosting and cloud servers and services
- Manage and maintain our Asterix SIP servers and services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure and security developments, and recommend upgrades and improvements as necessary.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory Users and Group Policy Objects.
- Create and maintain documentation and asset databases.
- Log all support and service requests and update tickets as needed.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Administer and troubleshoot Asterisk and IP Telephony systems.
- Create and manage file and folder sharing and permissions.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient IT operations.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and provide reports to management.
Conduct training sessions for team members and end-users.

- Job Timings: Monthly Rotational Shifts, 9 hours/day (5 days a week)
- Office location: Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi
