We are seeking a talented and creative Sign Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing and preparing high-quality, print-ready signage files, correcting file layouts, and have expert-level knowledge of CorelDRAW. This role involves transforming ideas into visually appealing and practical signage that aligns with client specifications and branding requirements.

Must Haves

• Experience: Proven minimum of 2 years of experience in sign design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing signage projects
• Software Skills: Expertise in CorelDRAW is essential. Knowledge of other design tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
  
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with design principles, colour theory, and typography, specifically for large-format printing and signage.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure designs are accurate and free of errors.
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interact with clients and team members to gather requirements and present concepts effectively. Fluent English speaking skills are required for this role.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing for different sign types, such as LED, vinyl, channel letters, or digital displays.
• Knowledge of production processes, including cutting, engraving, and printing.
• Basic understanding of sign installation techniques. 

Responsibilities

• Design Signage: Create eye-catching and functional designs for a variety of signage, including indoor, outdoor, and custom signs, using CorelDRAW.
• File Preparation: Ensure all designs are correctly formatted, print-ready, and meet production requirements, including proper dimensions, resolution, and colour profiles.
• Layout Adjustments: Modify and correct existing file layouts to ensure accurate alignment, scalability, and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their signage needs, branding guidelines, and design preferences.
• Material Consideration: Design signs with an understanding of the materials and methods used for production, ensuring durability and visual impact.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on design files to ensure they meet production and quality standards.
• Innovation and Creativity: Stay current with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to create unique and effective signage solutions.
• Troubleshoot Design Issues: Resolve any design or file-related issues that may arise during the production process. 

Other Details

• Job Timings: Night shift following US EST Time Zone (night shift)
• Office location: Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi

Regarding the remote, the candidate will arrange a separate workspace and the required gadgets (Laptop-Corei5 6th generation minimum, noise cancelling headphones, webcam, power backup).
