We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with 7–8 years of experience to support the business through high-quality analytics and reporting. This role is focused on technical execution and analytical rigour, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business-defined KPIs and reporting requirements, and collaborating with data and engineering teams to source, validate, model, and deliver accurate, scalable dashboards and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business-defined KPIs, reporting requirements, and analytical questions
• Translate business requirements and KPIs into well-structured analytical datasets, data models, and reporting solutions
• Identify, source, and integrate data from multiple systems, ensuring consistency and correctness across datasets
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure high data quality and accuracy
• Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports in Power BI that reflect agreed business metrics
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, and supporting documentation to ensure clarity and consistency
• Own data cataloguing and documentation efforts to improve data discoverability and usability across teams
• Conduct in-depth analyses to support business decision-making and answer ad-hoc analytical questions
• Partner with other analysts to align on data standards, modelling approaches, and best practices
• Proactively identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them
• Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and data limitations to non-technical stakeholders.

Must Haves

• 7–8 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or a related role
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and modelling large datasets
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for building scalable dashboards and reports
• Working knowledge of Python for analysis, automation, and data preparation
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis, validation, and ad-hoc reporting
• Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
• Clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining data, assumptions, and limitations.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience translating business-defined KPIs into analytical datasets and reporting solutions.
• Experience mentoring analysts or supporting team-wide analytics best practices without formal people management.
• Familiarity with modern data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modelling concepts.
• Experience working with multiple source systems and integrating data across platforms.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing data requirements.
