Treasury Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management

  • Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting for short-term and long-term cash needs.
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate balances

Banking and Transactions:

  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage accounts and resolve issues.
  • Process bank transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, trade financing and bank fees.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.

Risk Management:

  • Monitor and manage exposure to currency fluctuations and interest rate changes.
  • Handle foreign currency transactions and support hedging activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with accounting, finance and other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Provide treasury expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams on various projects and initiatives.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions and related documentation.
  • Support the Corporate Controller with budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role, typically 0-2 years.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
