About the role:
Purchasing Support:
- Consolidation from various departments their procurement needs and requirements.
- Process and assist Purchaser to issue purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain up-to-date records of supplier contacts, quotations, and agreements.
- Assist in price comparisons and product sourcing research (non-trade)
- Prepare procurement reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Handle general administrative duties related to the procurement function.
- Maintain procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency (non-trade product)
- Support Management Sourcing from order management to delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Continuously look for opportunities to streamline and improve procurement processes.
Procurement & Supplier Support
- Help prepare documentation for procurement negotiations and supplier onboarding.
Administrative Operations
- Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping of procurement transactions.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for procurement documentation.
- Support in compiling procurement reports, pricing comparisons, and inventory summaries.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, admin, or procurement support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel sorting, formulas, filtering).
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and support team initiatives.
- Knowledge or interest in the beauty industry is a plus.
- Proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus for liaising with regional suppliers.
