Assistant Store Manager/ Store Manager

This role combines leadership, strategy, and operational excellence to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and foster team development within a dynamic retail environment. The Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager will be responsible for achieving store targets, managing a diverse team, maintaining operational standards, and leading innovation to elevate performance and service quality.

With a strong focus on sales, people management, and operational efficiency, this position requires a proven leader with a passion for the beauty industry, an eye for trends, and the ability to create a positive and engaging customer journey while driving business success.

Achieve sales target

  • Drive store sales performance with the team
  • Set and track sales targets for Beauty Advisors (BAs)
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports as per standards
  • Implement strategies and document sales transactions

People Management

  • Lead and guide team with clear service vision
  • Promote diversity within the workforce and support team decision-making
  • Contribute to recognition of team performance

Deliver service excellence

  • Establish and develop service operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Ensure quality customer service across all store BAs
  • Create a service recovery plan to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Analyze service quality, monitor customer satisfaction, and build strong relationships

Deliver operations excellence

  • Oversee retail administration, crisis response and recovery activities and assign duties ensuring business continuity
  • Control inventory and manage store facilities
  • Develop and enforce store security/ safety policies and procedures
  • Partner Visual Merchandising in meeting brand standards and optimize retail space usage
  • Oversee the processing, fulfilment, and handling of customer orders, including returns

Engage in innovation and productivity initiatives

  • Conduct productivity assessments to identify potential enhancements
  • Assess productivity and drive improvement initiatives
  • Create and execute plans to enhance performance and innovation
  • Lead initiatives to introduce new products or services as required

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing a store
  • At least 2 years of people management experience
  • Staying ahead of latest beauty trends
  • Exceeds sales targets and delivers top-notch service
