ABOUT THE JOB:

Reports operationally to: BOD

The roles and responsibilities of the Head of Accounting include but are not limited to:

1. Accounting, tax & financial reports:

Set up, complete and improve accounting policies and accounting system.

Direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that the financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

Ensure all expenditure approval and payment are in compliance with companys policy.

Supervise the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports and all schedules as required by Management and by Vietnamese government and offices.

Be responsible for all taxation matters and all tax fillings.

Liaise and cooperation with external auditor (if any) to ensure a clean and timely year end audit for annual finance statement auditing.

Provide guidance, assistance and directions to Accounting staff.

2. Planning, Budgeting and Forecast:

Prepare planning, budgets and monthly financial performance reports.

3. People management:

Hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.

Employ servant leadership principles, foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity.

4. Process Management:

Develop and manage accounting management processes which enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure the processes is complied.

Maintain the system of centralization and authorization.

Enhance Business Partner/ Employee Experience.

5. Personal Development:

Demonstrate exemplary personal growth and development.

Continuously improve knowledge of Watches, yachts, private jets, real estate and other aspects of lifestyle.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related field.

Owning/ studying Certified Public Accounting, ACCA, CMA are advantages

Employment/Professional Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in Chief Accountant position.

Experience in external auditing, working with SAP , especially in luxury retailing industry would be a big plus.

Proven ability to manage an accounting organization in cash cycle, closing process, capital expenditure process and balance sheet integrity.

Fluency in Vietnamese and English (minimum 6.5 IELTS band).

Well versed in Invoice, Tax regulations, Accounting Standards, Financial Analysis.

Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and SAP ERP.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for necessary interactions with internal and external partners, which must include fluency in Vietnamese and English

Leadership Abilities demonstrate strong leadership, with an ability to give advice and counsel as well as provide a voice of reason. Demonstrated experience and successful management and development of staff
