HR Generalist

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and implementing HR initiatives across various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. This role ensures HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and supports the development of a positive, high-performance workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Policy & Compliance

Ensure company policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with local labor laws.

Maintain HR documentation, including employee records, contracts, and disciplinary actions.

Support audits and ensure HR practices align with internal and external standards.

2. Compensation & Benefits Support

Assist with payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and benefit administration (insurance, leave, etc.).

Prepare and verify monthly payroll data (e.g., working hours, leave records, overtime, bonuses, deductions).

Sometimes support C&B Leader to coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Support to maintain and update employee compensation records, salary adjustments, and benefit enrollments.

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, social insurance, and other statutory benefits.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations related to compensation, benefits, taxes, and social insurance reporting.

Assist in developing and communicating compensation and benefits policies to employees.

Handle employee queries related to salary, insurance claims, benefits, and tax declarations.

Liaise with insurance providers and government agencies to resolve benefits-related issues.

Track and report key C&B metrics (e.g., turnover cost, benefit utilization, overtime trends).

Support the implementation of reward and recognition programs.

Handle Audit Recap and welcome them.

3. Recruitment & Onboarding Support

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process: job posting, screening, interviewing, and offer letters.

Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.

Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

4. Employee Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues.

Support conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling in compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Promote employee engagement and positive workplace culture.

5. HR Reporting & Systems

Maintain and update HR databases and HRIS systems.

Generate reports and analytics for decision-making and planning.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

25 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or multi-functional role.

Experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
