Beach Resort Operation Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Beach Resort Operation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our beach resort, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the resort's overall operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and recreational activities. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operation of the resort, ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meeting high standards of quality and safety.
* Manage the front desk, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and handling guest complaints and issues.
- Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to high standards, including linen supply and turndown service.
- Coordinate with food and beverage outlets to ensure seamless service, including restaurant operations, bar service, and catering.
- Plan and implement recreational activities and events to enhance the guest experience, such as beach games, water sports, and themed nights.
-Manage resort inventory, including supplies, equipment, and inventory control.
-Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the resort.
-Conduct regular walk-throughs of the resort to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving.
-Manage budgets and monitor expenses to ensure profitability.
-Recruit, train, and develop a team of talented staff members to provide exceptional customer service.
-Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
-5+ years of experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a beach resort setting.
-Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
-Proven track record of excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
-Familiarity with hotel software systems (PMS, POS) an asset.
-High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Qualifications:
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field (e.g., CHTP).
-Experience with resort operations management software (e.g., Opera).
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding hospitality industry operations.
-Proficiency in basic accounting principles and budgeting.
