Store Officer
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable Store Officer to manage daily store operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring proper handling and maintenance of stock, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide procurement and purchasing support.
- Follow the store workflow procedures for parts receiving, binning, and issuance.
- Respond to email requests from management and suppliers.
- Assist with internal and external stock audits.
- Resolve issues related to parts receiving.
- Review vehicle drawings for parts requisition and inform the purchaser to raise purchase orders (PO).
- Handle equipment-related matters for NOBE, MSI, and CFMS.
- Arrange the weekly disposal of faulty parts.
- Manage parts distribution and respond to enquiries from vehicle technicians.
- Follow store workflow procedures for warranty claims.
- Check discrepancies identified during weekly stock takes.
- Adhere to store workflow procedures for reconditioned parts.
- Record daily readings for lubricant oil, diesel, AdBlue, and coolant.
- Operate forklift for loading and unloading parts, lubricants, coolants, gearboxes, batteries, and other materials.
- Support the Parts Manager with daily operational activities.
Requirements:
- Flexible working hours, including shift and weekend work when required.
- Computer literate with knowledge of various software applications.
- Basic engineering knowledge and familiarity with vehicle components.
- Experience in stock management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Experience using and managing computerized inventory systems.
- Possess and maintain a valid forklift operator license.
- Ensure zero industrial accidents and comply with all statutory and government regulations.
Safety and Company Responsibilities:
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain personal safety at all times by following health and safety responsibilities outlined in company policies and under the Workplace Safety and Health Act (Cap 354A).
- Report any injury, collision, dangerous occurrence, or safety concern to the Line Manager or Supervisor immediately.
