Our client is looking for a Compliance Manager to establish a compliance structure for a rapidly expanding FinTech company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain an effective compliance framework for the Financial Advisory industry
• Evaluate and improve the company's compliance with the legal obligations and corporate SOPs by overseeing the legal department
• Check that distribution personnel fulfill the company's instructions, circulars, notifications, and legislation, as well as those imposed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore or the Singapore Life Insurance Association
• Consult and work with regulatory organizations, external advisors, relevant stakeholders on legal, audit and compliance issues
• Follow up with regulatory changes and make recommendations for quality standards
• Generate data for monthly reporting to relevant authorities

Requirements:

• At least 5 to 7 years of related experience in the financial industry
• Knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory requirements; MAS Notices and Guidelines, PDPA, Balance Score Card regime, Securities and Futures Act, AML/CFT regulations and Financial Advisers Act
• Experience with MAS will be advantageous
• Good communication and written skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
