Our client is looking for a Senior System Administrator to support a rapidly expanding Digital Marketing and IT consultancy company based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities: 

• Managing software/OS licensing, updates, and patching 
• Improve the current server/infrastructures' availability, response time, and scalability.
• Implement ways to deal with web attacks and security issues like DDOS attacks and penetration
• To plan and execute disaster recovery activities 
• Monitor and optimize network and systems performance 
• Identity and access management 

Requirement: 

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field 
• At least 3 years of related work experience in administration of Linux systems. 
• Familiar with Linux commands, Certification in Linux Server will be an added advantage(eg: Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux) 
• Knowledge and experience in managing MySQL database server (replication, read/write splitting and clustering, offsite backup). 
• Experience with scripting and automation tools 
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols 
• Curious-minded, proactive and willing to learn new technology
