Project Manager

The company is a fast growing start-up in the region, specializing in offering AI solutions to industrial companies. It is now looking for a Project Manager to join them in crafting the future of engineering and manufacturing.

The successful candidate will oversee the entire project cycle and functions, while working with a team of engineers to support the company's projects and software, in accordance to customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage agile projects using JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable feature specs.
• Collaborating with the Business Development team to create proposals for project tenders.
• Creating detailed high-level project plans that identify resource needs and dependencies, inputs, and outputs allocation, and details key milestones and activities.
• Maintain project budget, timeline, quality, and compliance with project management standards.
• Ensure supporting project documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
• Manage service engagements including interactions with the customer project team, technical analysts, and client stakeholders.
• Collecting requirements and deadlines from various stakeholders to evaluate, design, and scope projects for delivering on both internal and external projects.
• Maintain the scope of a project and identify tasks that are out of scope based on the project statement of work (SoW).
• Conduct weekly project meetings and drive initiatives to meet project goals.
• Manage the delivery of project reporting for stakeholders to include burndown, RAG, and weekly status reports.
• Escalate issues that may result in negative financial or customer relationship impact.
• Contribute to the continuous review and build-out of project delivery standards and processes.
• Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Ensure customer expectations are met

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in delivering customer-facing projects including enterprise Java-related applications.
• 5 years of experience with task tracking or project management tools such as Jira
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, budgeting, interpersonal, and organization skills are required.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience managing a project through the full life cycle.
