Job Responsibilities:

Cooking & Food Preparation

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for preschool children in accordance with the centre's menu and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared, handled and stored safely in compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including cooking utensils, equipment and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food supplies and assist with basic stock management when required.
• Ensure proper handling of food allergies and special dietary requirements as instructed by the centre.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

• Perform general cleaning duties within the preschool premises, including classrooms, toilets, common areas and kitchen facilities.
• Sweep, mop, wipe and sanitise surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment after meal preparation.
• Dispose of rubbish appropriately and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas.
• Assist with laundry and other general housekeeping duties when required.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1) is required.
• Prior working experience as a Cook, Cleaner or General Assistant in a preschool or childcare centre is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and general cleaning procedures.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions from the preschool management.
• Physically fit to perform cooking, cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Responsible, punctual and committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for young children.
• Flexible and willing to travel to different preschool locations across Singapore.
• Able to accept ad-hoc assignments based on availability and centre requirements.

• Relief assignments are available at various preschool centres across Singapore.
• Working days and hours vary depending on each centre's manpower needs.
• Suitable for individuals seeking flexible, part-time or ad-hoc work arrangements.
• Candidates with prior preschool or childcare centre experience will be prioritised.
