About the job Warehouse & Logistics Manager

  • Reports to the Singapore Supply Chain Manager in order to guarantee that the relevant KPI targets for the P&L for Singapore and Southeast Asia are fully met. 
  • Close collaboration with the different stakeholders, such as global supply chain, QHSE, customer service, and service operations, to guarantee complete alignment and KPI performance delivery.
  • To oversee, lead, and oversee the logistics and warehousing operations for the Singapore and Southeast Asia warehouse/hub facility. 
  • This involves making sure that warehouse management and local, regional, and international product distribution are carried out efficiently, promptly, and affordably, in accordance with business requirements and customer demands.
  • Assume the necessary leadership role in overseeing a well-oiled team to guarantee product availability from the current facility. 
  • To oversee all aspects of supplier relationship management related to product movementsboth inbound and outboundand warehouse operations.
  • Provide monthly KPIs and targets that are in line with the goals of the global supply chain, with a focus on best practices development and continuous improvement projects. 
  • To gain exposure to different areas of the business, gain knowledge of the entire supply chain, and have an influence on the company.
  • Will get functional direction from the global supply chain team as well as the regional supply chain managers in APAC and MEA.
  • Become the authority on local, regional, and international logistics and distribution procedures in Singapore, encompassing Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South East Asia.
  • Make sure that all essential suppliers and logistic service providers have standard format contracts or agreements in place, complete with all required clauses, including settlement terms in line with credit term targets.
  • Gains knowledge and comprehension of Survitec export control policies and procedures, as well as pertinent regulatory and conduct codes, to guarantee that own work complies with those requirements.

Requirements

  • A diploma in supply chain management or business administration is equivalent.
  • 5 years of minimum relevant experience in logistics management and warehousing, preferably with a wide range of experience in land, air, and sea freight modes of operation.
  • Exhibit a thorough comprehension of network distribution modeling techniques and inventory management.
  • Expertise putting best practices in place for international logistics, freight, and transportation.
  • Knowledge of the HS Commodity Code Determination, the Country of Origin regulations, the Free Trade
  • Agreements within APAC, and the Customs Laws and Regulations (Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan).
  • Good people skills and a track record of winning over a variety of stakeholders in a functional matrix organization.
  • English writing and speaking abilities.
