Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and cultivate new clientele for service sales in the offshore/oil gas, marine, and industrial sectors.
  • In charge of upholding excellent customer relations and a high degree of customer service.
  • In charge of making the most profit possible while making sure the predetermined sales goal is met.
  • Help the business manager identify and create sales and marketing plans to take advantage of both domestic and international market potential.
  • Deliver a sales pitch and offer the customer technical support.
  • Stay up to date on market news and trends, goods and services, rivals, and pertinent details regarding new, developing, and legacy technologies, as well as the most recent advancements in product lines.
  • In the customer/sales team setting, demonstrate proactive leadership, ownership, and accepting accountability for conversations about the technical solutions the company offers in a way that builds trust with its clients.
  • Develop strong working connections and get an understanding of sales strategy, account approach, and opportunity handling by closely collaborating with sales teams.
  • As per the established function reporting process, deliver accurate account information and reports to Business Manager on a regular basis.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company and the sales teams by exchanging specialised knowledge and skills through coaching and training as needed.
  • On a range of vessels, carry out engine inspections, installations, chocking of stern tubes, and deck machinery.
  • Speak with your supervisor to get a briefing on tasks linked to services.
  • Create the appropriate work instructions, risk assessment, service report, and checklist for each task.
  • Before work begins, work with clients to schedule and arrange activities and make sure the necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Planning for manpower and work schedules, as well as mentoring and supervising technicians while they execute service work
  • Always put your own and your coworkers' safety first, and adhere closely to the company's environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Any additional duties that the management assigns

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an engineering diploma
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in the oil and gas, marine, or offshore industries
  • Capable with Microsoft Office
  • Capacity to perform well under duress
  • Show that you are capable of managing work independently, professionally, and effectively.
