Job details:
- Strong experience managing projects as a project manager, project supervisor, or ship repair manager is an added benefit.
- Having a solid history as a service engineer with knowledge of marine diesel engines, turbochargers, and marine equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ideally, to be a marine engineer MEO
- With at least 3000 KW of competency
- Have offshore or seagoing experience
- Strong experience managing projects as a project manager, project supervisor, or ship repair manager is an added benefit.
- Academic credentials for postsecondary study in mechanical, aeronautical, marine, or marine technology engineering is a plus
- Familiar with the legal and regulatory framework that governs the shipping business.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities combined with a responsible, safe mindset.
- Extremely driven and capable of working both in a group and in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
- Competent in spoken and written English and able to communicate effectively.
- Be able to utilise Microsoft Word for composing reports, Outlook for email correspondence, and a basic Excel spreadsheet.
- Medically qualified to work in a shipyard or onboard a vessel in Singaporean anchorage, as well as onshore in a workshop.
