Job Details:
- Leading the SEA subregion's supply and demand planning efforts, this position makes sure the company meets all agreed-upon customer service goals at the lowest feasible operating cost by optimising stock levels. Its main objective is to leverage efficient, data-driven analytics to offer guidance and suggestions to internal and external partners in the supply chain
- Oversees the SEA subregion's demand planning process and creates the subregion's aggregated demand plan.
- Establishes suitable planning categories for the diverse range of SKUs in the portfolio; establishes and executes the fundamental toolbox for demand modelling; educates and mentors peers in the use of core approach, guaranteeing consistency in methodology
- Produces relevant trend analysis, insights, and business recommendations on a regular basis, incorporating these into the operational planning and local sales process to promote maximum availability
- Displays information about demands to various internal and external stakeholders, such as internal and partners in third-party manufacturing
- Specifies how internal and external third-party suppliers to a major region should be planned for in terms of supply; chooses the best modelling and planning methodology and toolbox; educates supply planners in the where to utilise and understand these instruments
- Regularly and promptly assesses risks related to demand and supply planning; finds, effectively and suitably controls and reduces business risk associated to demand
- Oversees the daily distribution of pertinent data to pertinent suppliers (internal) and the S&OP process. and a third party
- Keeps track of, evaluates, and draws attention to any performance gaps in a portfolio of suppliers; makes recommendations enhancements made by suppliers to better satisfy demand requirements; offers suggestions to the company to encourage successful contract negotiations or alter the supplier or contract
- Oversees the regional S&OP process, keeping an eye on and adjusting sourcing and production schedules to maximise supply and manufacture of materials
- Gathers and examines the primary cost-causing factors, market conditions and concerns, innovative and alternative providers for the supply chain
- Evaluates current activities in one's own field of expertise and use innovative techniques to produce fresh concepts and guarantee that ongoing enhancements are provided
- Answers questions from clients or vendors, both internal and external, by giving details on complicated procedures and associated policies, citing others as needed to interpret policy
- Supports the involvement of stakeholders by identifying them, learning about their requirements, concerns, and issues, and responding to them by disseminating information to foster comprehension and dedication
- Identifies the team's individual growth needs using a formal development framework; plans and puts plans into action to increase their capabilities; offers others guidance or coaching during the organisation in one's speciality to help others reach their full potential and achieve better
- Any other responsibilities or tasks that the line manager may occasionally assign
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or a similar discipline
- At least three years of experience in the role of supply planning
- Excellent leadership qualities and the capacity to adjust to changes in a hectic setting
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities to build strong bonds with both internal and external parties involved
- Preferred are advanced MS Excel and any further MRP system features.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as the capacity for independent work
