Responsibilities:
- As the principal account manager for shipping companies, you will visit and establish commercial ties with enterprises in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and other Chinese shipping hubs.
- Have in-depth understanding of the market, the services and solutions the business may offer, and the rivals of the business.
- Promote and market essential maritime electronics items, such as satellite airtime, equipment, repairs, and ship-board services.
- Create a new business pipeline by locating, contacting, cold calling, researching, and meeting potential clients in order to expand, preserve, and capitalise on your network.
- Develop a rapport with customers by providing prompt service, answering questions, and making sure they are happy with the goods and services offered by the business.
- Arrange your sales strategies and using a range of techniques to effectively convince or bargain.
- Determine which marketing, offerings, and methods of distribution have the potential to boost sales.
- In charge of about 60 plus accounts, delivering a sales report every month, and participating in trade exhibitions.
- Create and provide quotes or proposals that address the goals and requirements of the client, and then follow up.
- Assist in planning and escorting executives' sales visits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's level education.
- Three or more years of expertise with maritime electronics and in a sales environment
- Be able to work in Hong Kong without a permit.
- Technical know-how and proficiency. It is preferred to have solid working understanding of bridge electronics.
- Language proficiency is necessary; other languages are advantageous.
- It is necessary to have a drivers licence, a valid passport, and dependable transportation.
