  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for partnerships, business, and client acquisition within the marine communication industry.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on competitor activities and industry trends in the region.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships while building lasting partnerships with shipping companies and maritime operators.
  • Understand clients' communication needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, track performance, and regularly report to senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for three to four marketing, trade, and exhibition events in Asia.
  • Lead the qualification of leads generated from these events for both team and individual sales efforts.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align business objectives with sales strategies.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to support the development of new products and improvement of existing ones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of successful sales experience in the marine communications industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly within the shipping sector.
  • Strong understanding of the communication industry and its offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales and effectively manage accounts.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
