Responsibilities:
- Acquire new clients and generate or boost overall earnings.
- To boost sales, visit both current and prospective clients and engage in telemarketing and established a rapport to keep customers. Plan regional marketing efforts to attract foreign associates or representatives.
- Supervise and participate in the execution of commercial strategies and associated actions.
- Put an emphasis on business growth and actively look for new business prospects while spotting chances for expansion within already-existing companies.
- Take part in commercial activities, bids, and RFQs. Assemble, submit, and monitor quotes.
- Participate in networking events and establish professional relationships with the aim of achieving business expansion.
- Evaluate and carry out feasibility assessments for both startup and established companies.
- Manage client comments and complaints skillfully to guarantee client satisfaction and hold-out. Strike a balance between the requirement to follow local and governmental policies and the requirement for efficient conflict resolution.
- Assure proper cash management, which includes efficient oversight and management of departmental costs, collaborate well with the Credit Control group to guarantee Credits are handled efficiently.
- Carry out market research to determine and analyze the state of the market and sector trends to generate large earnings and cultivate new clientele.
Requirements:
- Five or more years of relevant work experience, ideally in a position that is comparable.
- A solid understanding of Singapore's ports and marine laws.
- Business savvy and a strong desire to create new ventures.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication abilities.
