About the job Supply Co-ordinator (Marine)
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Keep all stakeholders informed about product availability and lead times in a constant communication loop.
- Make sure that open purchase orders and P&A bids are promptly followed up with vendors about freight, delivery, and duties.
- In order to guarantee correct and timely customer order fulfilment, communicate with customer service.
- Assist in enhancing inventory efficiency and maintain accurate inventory levels based on ABCD classification.
Requirements:
- A diploma in business, data analytics, data science, supply chain management, operations management, logistics, or maritime studies is available.
- Acceptable is professional accreditation from APICS, CIPS, SLA, SIPMM, or SIMM.
- We welcome recent graduates and individuals with less than two years of job experience. Show that you understand logistics, distribution techniques, and the supply chain.
- Knowledgeable about SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Sage, or IFS ERP software.
- It is extremely desirable to have knowledge in managing the logistics of dangerous goods (DG) (IATA DGR and/or IMDG). Familiarity with the methods and resources for continual development.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools or data analytics.
