Job Description:
- Offer engineering dispositions and support on a daily basis for the overhaul and repair of mechanical components or auxiliary power units.
- Give the investigation reports and shop results for the mechanical component, accessories, and APU.
- Focus on raising first pass yields and lowering low time removals of mechanical components or APUs.
- Collaborate with Repair Development Engineers to create innovative repair plans.
- Support efforts to standardise work scope and share best practices by collaborating with a global team.
- Collaborate with the professionals on the shop floor to resolve technical issues.
- Hold meetings for technical coordination with clients.
- Assist the business and sales teams in drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Create and maintain an internal or customised work scope.
- Encourage initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing R&O costs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, or its equivalent
- Eight years (or more) of expertise in the aviation repair and overhaul field, including at least five years of experience working with mechanical or aircraft engine components.
- Knowledge of aircraft engine components, including gas turbines.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and analytical communication abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate with teammates to ensure assignments are completed on schedule.
Capacity to oversee research projects and operate independently, constantly stepping up to finish tasks.
