Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Manage the full electrical vessel construction process from start to finish.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, making sure that all tasks are in compliance with the project's schedule and quality requirements.
  • Create and manage project schedules to guarantee that milestones are delivered on time.

Leadership:

  • Oversee a group of engineers, managers, and subcontractors, offering direction and assistance as required.
  • Encourage a healthy work atmosphere that encourages cooperation and teamwork among all site employees.

Quality Control

  • Verify that all work is completed in compliance with industry norms, safety laws, and project specifications.
  • Perform routine audits and inspections to guarantee the integrity and quality of the ship's electrical systems.

Stakeholder correspondence:

  • Act as the main point of contact for enquiries about project status and site activity from clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Regularly report top management on the state of the project, including any problems or setbacks.

Safety Management

  • Put safety procedures into place and implement them to give all site workers a safe working environment.
  • Regularly conduct risk assessments and safety briefings.

Resource Management

  • Oversee the distribution and acquisition of the supplies, machinery, and tools needed for the project.
  • Keep an eye on and manage project budgets to guarantee cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical engineering bachelor's degree
  • Five years minimum of experience in a similar sector, such as shipbuilding or maritime construction
  • Proficiency in electrical systems and principles of marine engineering.
  • Outstanding project management abilities and a track record of overseeing complex construction projects.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Expertise in using project management tools and software.
