About the job Purchasing Assistant (Ship Owner)
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily purchasing operations from different divisions within the company.
- Create purchase orders and buy requisitions for non-technical items.
- Manage orders, guarantee prompt delivery, and establish delivery schedules
- Verify, process, and ensure proper receipts in the BC system for all invoices.
- Check the costs associated with freight, external launches, and local ports.
- Organise the supply of freshwater and food.
- Manage purchasing for internal launches.
- Additional ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a related or comparable industry
- Positivity and the capacity to work both individually and together
- Attention to detail
- Excellent planning and scheduling abilities
