Purchasing Executive (Ship Owner)

Responsibilities:

• To move forward with the entire suite of procurement processes, which includes requisitions for purchases, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery of items in compliance with purchasing criteria.
• Work out a good price and establish a cooperative rapport with the suppliers.
• Manage the delivery of freshwater and food to ships.
• Track the progress of orders and expedite them.
• Implement inventory control procedures, including taking stock of all delivered and provided goods.
• Inquire about requisition-related matters with the Superintendents and boats.
• Closely collaborate with the company's launch PIC and shipping department.
• Any additional ad hoc tasks that the purchasing manager assigns.

Requirements:

• A diploma in supply chain management or purchasing with comparable credentials.
• Three years of experience in the marine or related business purchasing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Orderly and precise.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
