- Develop and recognize opportunities for automation solutions in campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will increase sales volume.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet your sales goals.
- Effectively communicate value to consumers by adopting a solutions-selling approach.
- Create, evaluate, and lead automation-related business opportunities from inception to conclusion.
- Work with internal teams to assess and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Industrial Automation solutions market, major trends, the competitive landscape, and business use cases.
- Collaborate with the team to generate solution proposals.
- Monitor updates and requirements from industry, legal, and regulatory agencies to ascertain how they affect the company and evaluate any prospects.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Control, Instrument or Mechatronics is preferred
- At least 5 years Sales experience with industrial automation projects
- Self-motivated, with a hunting mentality and a track record of building and sustaining important client connections
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with passion and initiative
- Competent, persuasive, goal-oriented, and able to operate both alone and in a team setting.
- Strong background in industrial automation, IIoT, systems integration, and manufacturing operation management systems
- Individuals with experience in selling and proposing different control systems, like PLC, SCADA, and DCS, can benefit further.
