Job Description:

  • Fully in charge of all assigned MLO/NVOCC account for their requirements on all trade lanes and basic follow up calls.
  • Actively participate in the end-to-end sales process involving proposal/quotation/BAF notice/Rate Negotiation/Closing spot Ad hoc rates
  • Ensure dead freight contracts are running well and in case of any assistance ensure regular calls are done to the concerned client for dead freight arrangement.
  • Ensure and achieve the sales target set for various trade/service corridors. Oversee agency performance.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationship through regular calls and customers meetings. Handle customer complaints and provide corrective actions promptly.
  • Identify customers needs, opportunities and key buying factors to provide tailor made solutions.
  • Attend to customers queries on product and service on daily basis.
  • Source and develop client referrals.
  • Work closely with cross functions and relay important information
  • Monitor competition, market conditions and product development through close dialogue/engagement with agents/customers, to consider the appropriate actions.
  • Contributing to the development of marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a customer database with sales activity record.

Requirements

  • At least a Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in freight shipping or forwarding industry
