Job Description:
- Examine FML vessels for audit risk, sufficient navigational infrastructure, and security.
- In charge of reporting on audit risk, adequate navigation, and security infrastructure
- Work together with the crew of the vessel to carry out audit risk assessments in the areas designated by the head of operational excellence/head of compliance and vessel audit/head of navigation and environmental compliance.
- In order to support business choices, submit the results of the checks to the Head of Operational Excellence/Head of Compliance and Vessel Audit/Head of Navigation and Environmental Compliance.
- Continue to keep accurate records and information storage.
- In charge of ensuring that information is properly documented and stored within the department
- To guarantee appropriate governance and the recording of crucial information, document information as instructed by the Head of Operational Excellence/Head of Compliance and Vessel Audit/Head of Navigation and Environmental Compliance.
- All significant paper or electronic documents should be kept up to date and organised within the department.
- Carry out departmental initiatives for ongoing improvement.
- In charge of carrying out departmental initiatives for continual improvement
- Work together with the department's head of vetting and performance/head of investigation as well as other staff members to see what procedures, technology, or regulations can be improved.
- Implement strategies for continual improvement within the department in line with established plans.
- Give the Head, Vetting & Performance/Head, Investigation regular updates on the status of continuous improvement efforts and make sure that the budget and schedule are followed.
- Regular operations
- In charge of giving the department's administrative support
- Quickly respond to questions or requests for administrative assistance within the department in line with established SOPs
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of maritime industry experience
- Solid familiarity with ship chartering activities
- Maritime degree or equivalent
