Plan Review Engineer (LNG Newbuild Projects)

• Oversee and coordinate the review process for LNGCs and VLGCs, ensuring effective management of all review activities.
• Offer technical expertise and support to stakeholders throughout the design phases.
• Evaluate and approve designs, plans, and technical specifications to ensure they meet newbuild requirements and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to risk assessments concerning the design of these gas carriers.
• Identify and address design issues, providing recommendations for enhancements and solutions.
• Guide or assist in choosing shipyards and manufacturers, focusing on the client's best interests.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in gas carrier technology and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering or similar
• Experience as a plan approval engineer for gas carrier projects
• Experience in newbuilding at site and site supervision and coordination or similar
