Job Description:
- Provide assistance to Vessel Managers.
- Coordinate with Fleet Operational Services to ensure up-to-date technical information and best practices.
- Arrange and manage service attendances for vessels.
- Collaborate with Vessel Managers to ensure surveys and certificates are current.
- Review repair specifications and follow up with service providers.
- Organize routine repairs and requisitions for service engineers or technicians based on vessel needs.
- Review and process vendor invoices for services rendered.
- Assist in maintaining the repair database and help compile Dry-Dock Specifications.
- Support the preparation and review of repair specifications, as well as analyze yard tenders.
- Work with the purchasing department to ensure cost-effective and timely supply deliveries.
- Provide assistance to Vessel Managers during dry dock operations.
- Help compile the Dry Dock Repair Report.
- Track capital modifications, upgrades, and ongoing projects.
- Appoint agencies and monitor associated costs and invoices.
- Coordinate various husbandry matters with local agents.
- Manage the distribution and tracking of vessel certificates.
- Review classification reports and distribute monthly reports to Vessel Managers and the vessels.
- Process and track technical and service reports.
- Organize and maintain archived records.
- Manage vessel drawings and instruction manuals.
- Distribute manufacturer service bulletins to the ship team and vessels.
- Monitor planned maintenance work orders and maintenance history within the PM system.
- Track equipment undergoing shore-based service or repair.
- Support the purchasing department in the absence of the Purchasing lead, as assigned by superiors.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
