Fixed Income Analyst
About the job Fixed Income Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement investment ideas across fixed income securities, including sovereign bonds, corporate bonds, and private credit opportunities
- Evaluate and integrate macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, credit fundamentals, and private market dynamics into actionable investment recommendations
- Maintain a high-quality and consistent work product by utilizing financial modeling, analysis of credit trends, due diligence on private credit investments, written investment reports, and reviews with Portfolio Managers
- Establish and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts, economists, private credit General Partners (GPs), and industry experts
- Collaborate with and provide fixed income and private credit insights to Investment team members
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a fixed income or private credit analyst
- Buy-side or sell-side credit analysts are welcome to apply
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or equivalent; CFA qualification preferred
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and research skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Self-starter with superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity
- Effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and execute a diverse range of tasks
- Ability to understand and review credit agreements and/or legal documentation
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Technical proficiency and familiarity with database tools like Bloomberg, Creditsights, etc.
