- Establish and carry out sales and marketing plans to increase market share, spot fresh prospects, and foster business expansion in the marine industry.
- Set goals, keep an eye on performance, supervise and inspire the sales staff, and offer continuous training and development.
- Create and preserve strategic connections with important customers in the port and marine crane sectors to guarantee client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Keep up with market developments, competition activity, and industry trends to see possible business possibilities and dangers.
- Create and oversee the budget for the sales department, making sure that resources are allocated effectively to meet sales goals.
- Oversee contract talks and agreements with clients to ensure that the business has favourable terms and conditions.
- Create and provide sales estimates and reports on a regular basis to senior management, offering analysis and suggestions for enhancement.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree (a master's degree is preferable) in business administration, sales, or a similar discipline.
- A track record of accomplishment in company growth and sales, particularly in the maritime crane sector.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in both negotiating and communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and marine crane products.
- The capacity to travel as required to attend industry events and meet with clients.
- Expertise in CRM and Microsoft Office software.
