Crewing Manager (Ship Owner)

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily crewing personnel tasks in accordance with crew department guidelines.

In conjunction with the Technical and Marine department, schedule interviews for qualified applicants seeking to fill the position of engineer or deck officer.

keeping each vessel's crew rosters current at all times.

Ensuring that all seagoing personnel have up-to-date personal, medical, and training records; tracking the validity of licenses and documents for all ranks on board.

Oversee the personnel demobilization and mobilization process (hotel reservations, travel, and visas, among other things).

In order to schedule staff, work closely with manning agents and designate ports for crew changes.

In order to guarantee seamless logistics arrangements for arriving and departing crew, communicate with port agents.

Before sending invoices to the finance department for payment, check and approve the crew, travel/accommodation, manning agent, visa, and other agent-provided bills.

For crew-related issues, communicate with the administrations of the vessel's flag.
