Job Description:
- To collaborate closely with Performance Manager and Ops.
- In charge of creating operational key performance indicators (KPIs), such as idle time, port productivity, berth productivity, and crane intensity.
- The individual bears the responsibility of overseeing the bunker consumption of boats in close collaboration with the Performance Manager.
- To guarantee seamless vessel-berth cooperation that leads to bunker efficiency, maintain tight communication with the local operations team and Vessel Command. We would be able to recover on the vessel schedule and further our bunker-saving efforts if we could acquire a lower berth while waiting.
- Tracking KPIs and enhancing patterns in performance.
- Familiar with weather routing software.
- Proficiency in decarbonisation and Carbon Intensity Indicators (CII) alignment.
- To track and compare the consumption of recently chartered vessels to the TCD and take appropriate action to involve the owners of the vessels.
- Charged with keeping an eye on Port Performance in relation to predetermined goals and KPIs.
- Having conversations with local representatives to guarantee peak port performance.
- Responding to inquiries. Off-hires, consumption claims, damage complaints from stevedores, reefers claims.
- Knowledge of cargo planning and stowage for container ships.
- Keeping an eye on vessel reports (VRM) and making sure they are submitted on schedule.
- Using the Voyces Softship Scheduling Programme before would be advantageous.
- Actively engaged in the monitoring and analysis of operational data.\
- Verifying vessel reports in the internal data storage facility.
- Sending in the operational costing of the assigned vessel following each journey.
- To promptly handle and settle any issue pertaining to operations.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of a diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, or maritime studies, or an equivalent.
- Seafaring officers are encouraged to apply for the position of Min 2nd Mate. Prior experience sailing container ships is also a plus.
- Being aware of vessel stowage and handling hazardous materials in order to evaluate potential vessel use.
- The capacity to adjust, react, and make choices in the ever-changing operations environment.
- Capable of converting operations data into insights and using them to inform decisions.
- A minimum of five years of comparable job experience

- Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, open to learning, skilled in problem-solving and creative thinking, and dedicated to work.
