BASIC FUNCTION
- Develop New Business Opportunities by identifying and proposing new business deals through outreach to potential clients, decision-makers, and target accounts. Evaluate these deals by analyzing market strategies, requirements, and options.
- Collaborate Across Teams to Secure Business by working closely with local, regional, and global teams to close deals using persuasive approaches that convince key accounts and customers to partner with PS. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across various management levels within key accounts.
- Cultivate and Sustain Key Relationships by establishing, nurturing, and maintaining connections with end customers, influencers, and contractors, either directly or in partnership with distribution partners.
- Manage and Progress Sales Pipelines by identifying and developing sales opportunities, working with sales teams and end customers to advance deals through the sales stages until closure. Ensure data is accurately recorded and managed in PSs CRM and sales/project management system.
- Set Sales Targets and Forecasts by developing budget forecasts and sales volume targets for the Southeast Asia Data Center market.
- Strategize for Successful Deal Closures by collaborating with sales teams to determine the level of involvement needed from distribution partners to successfully close business and project deals. Provide guidance on pricing and quotation strategies for the distribution network.
- Expand Market Reach through Strategic Alliances by identifying and assisting in the qualification of strategic alliances to extend PSs solutions, products, and services into additional markets. Utilize business networking opportunities to access new markets.
- Provide Marketing and Technical Support by offering front-line marketing and technical support related to data centers to distribution partners and dealers when needed.
- Analyze Sales and Market Data by evaluating sales and market data to provide insights that aid senior management in decision-making.
- Promote PS at Industry Events by actively participating in promoting PS at trade events and through industry associations. Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to create, prepare, and present technical papers and application-specific white papers for use in marketing materials, trade journals, and conferences.
TRAVEL
- This position requires travel up to 50%.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.
- Solid proven direct and channel sales track record. Able to present and negotiate with senior executives and decision makers both internally and externally.
- Results driven, strong will to compete and win in a business environment.
- A good team player and enjoys interacting with people of all levels.
- Able to travel frequently and work independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation products and solutions. Has good knowledge of industry standards and requirements.
- Strong people and communication skills that engages and motivate others. Able to stimulate new thinking and remain customer focused.
