Job Details:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the designated group's accounting team.
  • Keep in close and efficient contact with clients to comprehend and fulfill their needs regarding the boats' financial reporting.
  • Keep an eye on the creation of monthly cash flow statements, budget variance reports, monthly vessel financial accounts, etc., and send them to the technical team for review and approval.
  • Examine the reports and make sure that timely responses are submitted to clients and other departments both internally and internationally.

Work Experience, Functional Proficiency, and Requirements

  • Degree in finance and accounting or a relevant discipline
  • Four years of minimum accounting experience is required; experience in the shipping industry is desired.
  • Experience as a supervisor
  • It is essential to have prior experience creating financial reports, cash flow reports, budget vs. actual reports, etc.
  • Preferable is practical experience with ERP such as SAP, Oracle, and so on.
  • Outstanding computer abilities and a high level of Microsoft Office competence
