We are looking for a Marketing Director for our client, within the construction and building industry!
Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on brand development, lead generation, and client retention within the construction industry.
Brand Management: Strengthen and maintain the company's brand identity, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications are consistent and reflect the company's core values, vision, and expertise.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and opportunities. Leverage insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the construction sector.
Campaign Development & Execution: Plan and execute marketing campaigns (both digital and traditional) to promote services, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, direct mail, and event marketing (trade shows, industry events, etc.).
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Drive lead generation efforts through targeted digital marketing, content creation, and strategic partnerships. Implement strategies to nurture relationships with potential clients and key industry stakeholders.
Content Marketing & Thought Leadership: Develop engaging content that showcases the company’s expertise, including case studies, project highlights, blog posts, press releases, and white papers, positioning the company as an industry leader.
Public Relations & Media: Build relationships with industry journalists, publications, and influencers to increase brand visibility and manage media relations. Ensure the company is seen as a thought leader in the construction and building industry.
Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving a strong ROI across all campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and senior leadership to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business goals and drive tangible results.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Regularly measure, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion, brand awareness, web traffic, and campaign success. Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing and has been in a leadership role, ideally within the construction, architecture, engineering, or related industries.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the construction and building industry, including trends, regulations, and customer behavior.
Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
