About the job Crewing Manager (Ship Owner)
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily crewing personnel tasks in accordance with crew department guidelines.
- In conjunction with the Technical and Marine department, schedule interviews for qualified applicants seeking to fill the position of engineer or deck officer.
- keeping each vessel's crew rosters current at all times.
- Ensuring that all seagoing personnel have up-to-date personal, medical, and training records; tracking the validity of licenses and documents for all ranks on board.
- Oversee the personnel demobilization and mobilization process (hotel reservations, travel, and visas, among other things).
- In order to schedule staff, work closely with manning agents and designate ports for crew changes.
- In order to guarantee seamless logistics arrangements for arriving and departing crew, communicate with port agents.
- Before sending invoices to the finance department for payment, check and approve the crew, travel/accommodation, manning agent, visa, and other agent-provided bills.
- For crew-related issues, communicate with the administrations of the vessel's flag.
