Responsibilities:
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of risk assessments, reports, and other documents pertaining to maritime matters.
- First-hand familiarity with all relevant national, international, and industry rules and regulations As directed, help operation managers
- Observing and determining when navigational equipment needs corrective maintenance in the future by analysing the monthly report that the department of maintenance and performance improvement sends out.
- Conduct Ship Shore Compatibility Studies (SSCS) for FSRU and LNGC.
- Help certain that the mooring, SSCS, and orders are completed as directed.
- In charge of providing the fleet with safety, security, and navigation updates
- Meet established KPIs. In charge of providing the Head of Department and Marine Superintendents with timely, organised, and effective experience feedback pertaining to the aforementioned areas
- When asked, take part in officer and crew conferences.
- Participate in pre-vetting and vetting support for port state controls, inspections, audits, and reporting in the safety management system as needed.
- Additional routine duties as directed by the department head

- Review ship documentation and ensure quality for VIQ 2.0 inspections
- Keep an eye on any new or approaching regulations that may impact the fleet in the areas of cargo, navigation, safety, security, mooring, PSC, and SIRE, and make sure MSIs are informed of them.
- Engage in active participation in the development and ongoing enhancement of HIIS, as well as the reporting and closing of all pertinent reports.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a ship's officer, ideally with LNG or LPG. It would help to have experience with different kinds of management.
- Need thorough familiarity with and comprehension of mooring and mooring systems.
- It is necessary to have a solid understanding of computer software and systems. The Marine Coordinator will manage multiple software applications and an internal SSCS data site.
- Possession of direct control over maintaining the fleet's compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulations.
- Solution-focused mindset.
